Cancellation Policy
  • If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, Falls Creek Hotel will refund the deposit held less a cancellation fee of 15% of the total booking amount.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, Falls Creek Hotel will retain the full deposit. 
  • If a booking is reduced in the number of nights each night cancelled will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • All cancellations must be provided in writing to enquiries@fallscreekhotel.com.au
Bookings
  • A 50% deposit of the total booking rate must be made within 7 days of the date made to confirm the booking. Balance of the account and any extra sundry charges are due on departure.
  • A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed.
  • It is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation email and promptly advise Falls Creek Hotel if there are any errors or misunderstandings.
  • By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Falls Creek Hotel to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card.
  • Non-payment within these terms may forfeit your booking.
  • Room selections and requests are takin into consideration but not guaranteed.  Bookings will be allocated a room with the correct number of beds according to guest numbers.
Child Policy
  • Children aged 4 years will be charged 25% the adult rate when sharing with 2 adults.
  • Children aged 5 to 17 years will be charged 50% the adult rate when sharing with 2 adults.
  • Children in their own room will be charged at the adult rate.
  • Single share rooms will be charged and extra supplement of 50% on top of the single adult rate.
On-the-day Standby Rates:
  • A 25% discount can be applied to the booking if made after 9am on the day of arrival
  • A 50% discount can be applied to the booking if made after 6pm on the day of arrival
Loyal Guest Discount
  • Return guests in the Falls Creek Hotel database may receive a 10% loyal guest discount on the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate, minimum 4 night stay required.
  • To receive this discount the booking must be made directly with Falls Creek Hotel and will be applied at the discretion of management.  Only applied to guest bookings where the guest has stayed within the last 4 years.
  • Loyal Guest Discount is not applicable on a Single Supplement Rate.
Check In & Check Out Times
  • Check-in 2:00 pm
  • Check-out 10:00am
  • Luggage storage is available for early arrivals & late departures.
Insurance
  • We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover the loss of monies paid in the event of having to cancel your reservation.

Forms, Online Shop and Comments 

When visitors fill out forms, leave comments or use our online shop on this website we collect the data shown in the relevant forms, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. 

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. 

Media 

If you upload images or comments to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. 

Cookies 

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How Long We Retain Your Data 

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
